About the founder of The Wellness Break

The Wellness break was founded by Cdr Rajesh Janardhanan, a retired Indian Naval veteran.

Cdr Rajesh is a Government-certified Yoga Instructor, extensively experienced in Wellness/ Traditional Healthcare projects related to Ayurveda and Yoga, who learned the craft directly from traditional practitioners.

The Wellness breaks are personally curated by him and executed with the support of a qualified team of professionals.

All the yoga sessions are conducted by him personally.

Interactive yoga sessions are the next best thing to regular contact classes. These sessions are two-way video sessions, which means the sessions are live, feed backs and corrections are immediate, the pace of the sessions are based on real-time progress.

This format offers you the benefits of attending a regular session in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Weekly group live yoga sessions are conducted online on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 5.30 to 6.30 am Indian time.

All you need to is to join in on Google Meet using your phone or your laptop

On signing up & completing your subscription, you will receive intimations over email with clear instructions and introductory information.

During the regular Yoga Sessions Online, the instructor will be clearly visible to you on your laptop / desktop / mobile screen.

You will need a webcam positioned in such and angle and distance so that your entire body (both in sitting or standing positions) are visible to the instructor on his computer screen.

Communication during the session will be one way only - from the instructor to you. So, your microphone will need to be muted.

At the end of the session, you may have an opportunity to ask questions or seek clarifications if any during the common 10-min Q&A session open to all participants.

If essential, the instructor will get on a call with you at a mutually convenient time and date to clarify any additional queries.

These are Hatha yoga/ Vinyasa yoga classes. They are suitable for beginners as well as intermediate practitioners.

  • 1. Unlike recorded videos, these are live sessions, where the pace of the sessions are based on real time progress and feedback of the student.
  • 2. Being two-way video sessions, corrective actions are immediately undertaken preventing incorrect or wrong practices.
  • 3. It combines the benefits of direct contact classes while offering the comfort and privacy of your homes.

Yes, such an opportunity of one-on-one online sessions is also available as a special subscription.

Private/ individual sessions and therapeutic sessions for specific needs such as post-natal, diabetes/ thyroid/ hormonal issue management, lumbago, sciatica, etc are also conducted after individual one-on-one consultations.

Once you submit the online form, you will have an opportunity to discuss this with your instructor before you subscribe to this option.

Group Live Yoga Sessions: Rs 3000/- per month (Approx12 sessions/month) per head

Private / Individual Yoga & Therapy Sessions: Rs 10000/- per month (Approx 12 sessions/month) per head

Payment will be 100% advance payment at the beginning of the month.

Unfortunately, no refunds of the monthly fee paid will be possible on cancellation / discontinuation.
